In this letter, Mrs. Jane Hicks encloses one dollar from Miss S. M. Bensi of Philadelphia, and requests a receipt to be sent in the enclosed envelope. Hicks says she is celebrating her 83rd birthday and that " 'My heart and my flesh fail me' but-- I can still say 'I love thy Kingdom, Lord.' "
