In this letter, John F. Goucher writes to Rev. G. W. Gray with an enclosed bill intended for Rev. J. W. Cornelius. According to Cornelius, he has written similar articles for other universities and they were put into university publications without charge, so Cornelius argues that American University should also not charge him for his article in the University Courier. Goucher tells Gray that the enclosed bill "should not have been rendered."
