Description
This undated and unsigned typed memorandum from the Chancellor's Office details the key points in Hurst's fundraising campaign in 1891. The main points are: There is an opportunity to found a Christian university in Washington, D.C.; the value of such an university is immense; and all Christians (i.e. Methodists) have a duty to support this university. After stating those reasons, the memo requests the reader to become a donor of the university.
